Vito Chianca

Dr Vito Chianca is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal and sports imaging, with expertise in oncological and abdominal imaging and advanced quantitative techniques. He assesses bone, joint, muscle, tendon and soft-tissue conditions, helping patients and referring clinicians reach a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.

He also provides ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including joint and bursal injections, treatment of calcific shoulder tendinopathy, tendon needling, high-volume injections for tendinopathy and ultrasound-guided trigger-finger release. Dr Chianca combines clinical practice with international research and works in hospital and academic settings in Italy and Switzerland
